TED LASSO EXCLUSIVE PERSONALIZED PARTNERSHIP

Opportunity

Drive brand awareness and gain new customers through a licensed partnership with Warner Brothers Entertainment & Ted Lasso. The partnership allows people to show off their fandom and share their love of the show and the beloved coach.

Insight

The Ted Lasso show has tapped into and created a cultural moment built around kindness and leadership. Shutterfly is uniquely positioned as the only place where you can show off your love of the show in a personalized way. 

 

Result

The Ted Lasso partnership drove high new customer acquisition with 85% of the purchases coming from new purchasers. To date the partnership has generated some of the most positive social feedback the brand has ever received.

Visual Identity

Since this was a licensed partnership the toolkit of assets was provided from Warner Brothers. Our team of designers applied that guidance to our products to create impactful and eyecatching designs our customers love. 

In the photography and video that we captured I made sure that our product was the hero of the shot. This became very important  as we were limited to using images of Ted Lasso only on product in our marketing collateral.

Web Experience

The Shutterfly X Ted Lasso web experience consisted of homepage marquee assets, a dedicated landing page, product page banners, and blog article.

Social

We created a robust set of paid and organic ads that ran on various platforms but mainly Facebook and Instagram. The paid ads had a ROAS of $2 which outpaced the target that had been set of $.75. Below you can see a selection of the paid and organic posts that were created.
